On March 8, 2021, Jiangsu Yinbao Salt Industry Co., Ltd. announced that it had signed a contract worth 33 million yuan with an equipment supplier for a complete intelligent packaging line. After the project is completed, it can achieve an annual comprehensive production capacity of 1 billion small bags of salt products and 600,000 tons of large bags of salt products. The overall operational efficiency will increase by 40% and labor costs will be reduced by 30%.
A total of 12 high-speed production lines are laid out in the small bag packaging area, operating in four groups: A, B, C and D.
- Group A: 4 back-sealed bag loading/bagging lines, equipped with the first domestic "box/bag" one-click switching palletizing system;
- Group B and Group C each have 3 ordinary back-sealed bag automatic packaging lines, sharing the second palletizing system.
- Group D: 2 stand-up bag packing lines and an independent third palletizing system.
The designed speed of small bags across the entire line is 120 bags per minute, and the annual production capacity has exceeded 1 billion bags.
The large bag packaging area focuses on two major specifications: 50kg and ton bags.
- 1 packaging line for 50kg wet salt (excluding palletizing);
- 1 simple ton bag collection line for moisture-dispersing salt;
- 1 packaging line for 50kg pickled salt and refined salt (including palletizing);
- 4 refined salt ton bag packaging machines;
- 3 simple collection lines for ton bags.
The designed speed of 50kg bags is 700 to 800 bags per hour, and that of ton bags is 30 bags per hour. The annual production capacity can reach 600,000 tons.
The project was fully put into operation in the first quarter of 2022 and has become the demonstration factory with the highest degree of automation and informatization in the domestic salt industry.
